Great location, and loved the fact it was secure and very quiet. Room size great but bed wasn’t comfy and as the air con didn’t work it was very hot in our room and no way to open any windows which was a shame.
Liked: It's location.
Disliked: Bed very uncomfortable and air con did not work, so very hot.

It was strange to go in and not see reception. When we got to the reception desk the staff were lovely and helpful; room was lovely; so clean and comfortable; it was surprisingly quiet despite all the noise in the street; great view of Broad Street; cool room; lovely shower and amenities; watched TV before going to sleep; good night's sleep. Will definitely stay there again.
Liked: Our stay was great.
Disliked: The lifts were a bit slow but it is a big hotel. I forgot to tell receptionist I was vegetarian but still had a nice breakfast. My husband would have liked fried egg with his but no big deal we still enjoyed it.

Helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel in a close location to the city centre and the NIA. Beds were very comfortable; we will return on our next visit to Birmingham.
Liked: Great location; quiet room.
Disliked: Breakfast was slow on refills of scrambled egg.

Overall this met our need: for a clean comfortable hotel near to Symphony Hall, which it certainly was. However, the breakfast was really disappointing and was not good quality. The breakfast area was more like a canteen and seating was limited. Staff were friendly.
Liked: Very clean; room was lovely; excellent quality; fantastic shower.
Disliked: The breakfast area is really cluttered and is not suited for a relaxing breakfast. The scrambled eggs were not real eggs, they were awful. No instructions on the hot drink machine or microwave which led to delays and the staff having to repeat instructions over and over again. Long queue to check in.

Enjoyed my stay here, and would happily stop here again if I was staying in Birmingham.
Liked: Comfortable, everything you need.
Disliked: A few loose fixtures (like a light bulb). Nothing major - were easily sorted myself.
