Liked: Great choice for breakfast and staff very pleasant
Disliked: Taking sum of £50 from card to be returned in 4 to 5 days rather than just a card number as deposit.Happy to pay 12.50 separately for car parking

Overnight stay
Liked: 6 am breakfast on a Sunday is almost unknown in any other hotel. Allowed us to eat before leaving for Dover.

Liked: The hotel was very nice.
Disliked: The employees were impolite when I couldn't provide the 50-pound deposit, as I was unaware that it was a standard procedure for the hotel. It was just one of those days where everything seemed to go wrong. I had a new phone without any apps or contacts, and my partner was planning to join us later, so I only had enough money for the hotel fee. It was already 9 o'clock and I was struggling with my toddler, two bags, and a stroller. The staff insisted that I wait outside until I paid the deposit, which seemed unreasonable to me. Eventually, he allowed me to check in, but the thought of having to stay outside with my child was distressing. He certainly lacked understanding and empathy.
