Liked: Beautiful little bedroom, comfortable bed, staff friendly and breakfast was delicious
Disliked: The price of drinks at the bar!

Shame it could have been...

Liked: Nice position, well away from the main road. Nice quaint bar next door in what looked like an old stable block. Rooms were warm as it was exceptionally cold during our stay. The bathroom was very clean. Some members of staff were lovely.
Disliked: Breakfast was really poor. Not what we were expecting at all. One Pat of butter per person, no marmalade, even ran out of bread one day. Our room was large but not clean , the carpet was very stained and lots of dust on lamp shades etc. We had a very disturbed first nights sleep with what sounded like furniture being dragged around below our room. Went on for quite a while intermittently. No clue as to what was going on.

Nice hotel in a lovely...

Liked: Lovely room, excellent bathroom, really comfortable bed. Good breakfast , good evening meal in a nice restaurant, friendly staff. Lovely location.
Disliked: The bedroom carpet could do with being changed, lots of stains on it.
