Dinner - the food was delicious, well thought out and put together. Excellent wine choice too.

A pleasant couple of night’s...

Liked: Comfortable room. Nice location on the edge of town. A good venue for a family gathering. A good menu and nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Overall the venue is a bit tired and jaded. Some furnishing and fixtures in the room damaged, broken or in need of repair/ replacement. Mandatory service charge on food and beverages a poor business model in my opinion.

Canny, don’t think I’d stay...

Liked: *spa is fabulous, lovely facilities. Staff was great.*room was nicer than expected they are slightly outdated but still comfortable. Room was a little on the small side but that obviously couldn’t be helped.
Disliked: *reception staff weren’t very approachable, or welcoming unfortunately. Didn’t go through much with us and didn’t make enough effort in direction to our room. *the bathroom wasn’t very clean, hair on the toilet. Lots of eye level cobwebs and dirt outside the bath. I understand it’s an old building but far too much dust. Few minor issues but didn’t effect the stay.
