Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Liked: Friendliness/overall helpfulness of all of the staff personnel.
Disliked: Lobby music too loud and needs a heater/exhaust vent system in the bathrooms.

Location and comfort.

Liked: Location was perfect. Walking the wharf was nice and led to shops, museums and restaurants. The Pedway attached to the hotel and was handy for walking part of the way to destinations comfortably.
Disliked: No microwave.

Excellent quiet and comfortable

Liked: The hotel's location is excellent, close to services, and its price is suitable and affordable for everyone. The room is large and clean, and the staff are excellent. As for the food, I did not order anything. I recommend it to anyone who visits Halifax.
Disliked: I loved everything except the food because I hadn't tried it.

Great stay, but consider breakfast...

Liked: The hotel was clean and well appointed. The staff was fantastic, polite and efficient.
Disliked: Breakfast in the restaurant was sub-par for the price. The coffee may be one of the worst I've had at a hotel, the hashbrown potatoes weren't cooked through and the omelet was overcooked to the point of being dry.

Liked: The location and check in was perfect our room had stains everywhere ans the TV wasn't working. We had our k9 dog and was charged a large fee that was not discussed to us upon checking in. Really not impressed and will not be staying again. It's really not worth the money. Try the Muir stay away from this hotel.
Disliked: The stained room ... bed touch floor. The TV rhat didn't work channels lagging. The surprise k9 fee qe were charged rhat no one disclosed. Do not sray hwre hotel halifax is even better.
