Beautiful, romantic, de-stress, comfortable, warm...

Liked: We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was beautiful. We could park really close to where our room was (which was level access), very much appreciated as I am presently on crutches. The pub was warm and inviting, all the staff were polite and courteous. Everything was clean and it was the relaxed and romantic weekend we were after, celebrating 20 year anniversary. We would definitely recommend people come to stay.
Disliked: A couple of things. All the food was delicious (and this is just personal taste), I had the fish pie which was lovely but for me too many peas in it, felt like pea pie. Lol. Also, and again this may be normal for the pubs in the area, we felt the drinks were a little pricey. But all in all a wonderful stay, just what the doctor ordered for a total de-stress.

Excellent stay, fantastic breakfast

Liked: Very comfortable and spacious room. Excellent service. Fantastic breakfast.
Disliked: It was hard to find the room in the dark when parking outside the pub. It’s a little way separate to the pub down a small road.

One of the best pub/hotels...

Liked: Very high quality rooms and dining. Staff excellent. Conveniently close to the main road but quiet too. Ample parking.
Disliked: Well it's mid-winter, so a few more vegetables and a little less nouvelle cuisine.

Hope to be back with...

Liked: The service was excellent. My partner has allergies and they went out of their way to accommodate. Staff were so friendly, breakfast was great too. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend that much time there but we would definitely return with that intention.
Disliked: One very small complaint is that the bathroom was quite cold but we were there in the middle of January!!

Cosy inviting pub, gorgeous rooms...

Liked: The room was gorgeous and very cosy and warm in the winter weather. We had a lovely new year evening, food and quiz was great fun! Breakfast service was relaxed and inviting. Perfect start to the day.
Disliked: Some additional pillows would have been good or some alternatives to feather but we still had a great stay.
