The hotel is a great...
Liked: The hotel was very pretty with nice open spaces and great staff. Nice location across from the Halekulani where you can access to great restaurants.
Disliked: The rooms were small and the pillows and towels were very poor quality. Other than that, the hotel was very nice.

Liked: location was great, pretty central to everything. Was able to walk to lots to places, yet able to park our rental car easily and use it.

Liked: The bell boys were friendly.
Disliked: Disappointing Stay - Would Not RecommendWe had high hopes for our stay, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The room was facing a garage parking lot, which wasn’t ideal, and I was woken up multiple times during the night by car alarms. The bed was uncomfortably hard—felt like sleeping on a rock. The complimentary beach slides were offered in size 5-7 or 12-13, would have been nice to have some close to your size. The staff wasn’t much help either. My daughter got stuck on the 8th-floor pool area, and I accidentally took her keycard. I asked the cleaning staff for assistance, but they were unhelpful and didn’t offer any help to get her back to our room. When I asked for a late check-out nap and placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign up at noon, they knocked on my door anyway, waking me up.We booked two rooms for $4,000 (3 nights and 6 nights), and frankly, it was not worth the price. Perhaps if I had booked directly through the hotel instead of through Booking.com, we might have gotten a better room, but I wouldn’t risk it.Another issue: I had arranged with the front desk to have a taxi for a dinner reservation. Despite warning them about the potential festival-related traffic issues, they only called an hour before the reservation to say they couldn’t get a taxi. I had to cancel last-minute and was charged a cancellation fee, which was frustrating. They managed to find a taxi eventually, but after a $40 ride to Chinatown, we had to wait an additional 45 minutes to be seated. It was a hot mess and a stressful experience. Finally, during our Chinatown trip, a local resident warned us about safety issues in the area at night. We even considered taking the bus back to the hotel but were told to avoid walking due to reports of stabbings and assaults. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.All in all, we won’t be returning. For the price, the value just isn’t there. Book elsewhere.
