Having stayed at the Halekulani...

Liked: Never had breakfast at the restaurant, but did go to the pastry shop next-door, which was convenient. I felt the room was quiet. It was on the top floor as I requested. The view was incredible, but it was very small for two people.
Disliked: Your coffee pods are awful. You need to have a good supply of very dark beans for those who like to have coffee that doesn’t taste like water. Also, your Keurig machine does not allow for different coffee sizes.

Liked: Beautiful new hotel. Minimalist design, yet comfortable and elegant. Beautiful glass art throughout the hotel. A favorite: the Japanese toilets - warm seats, self-flushing, and with bidet features. Next door is an excellent bakery, open Wednesday through Sunday, where we got our morning croissants, cappuccino, and mini-quiche. It supplies the baked goods for the Halekulani hotel across the street, too. Great location near the Royal Hawaiian Center and the designer shops at Waikiki.
Disliked: Loved it and would stay there again. No complaints.

A lovely hotel with excellent...

Liked: Location, contemporary decor, nice swimming pool and friendly staff.
Disliked: The wallpaper in our room was coming off the wall. Some areas of the bathroom were dusty. The wardrobe hadn’t been properly checked before we arrived as there was a sunhat in the wardrobe. The rooms could fit and should have a desk in them.
