Our stay was so unpleasant...

Liked: We liked the location of this property. We have stayed at several of the hotels at LAX. This hotel was a huge disappointment.
Disliked: The lighting in the room is obnoxious. The lightbulbs that are used by the bedside tables are of that blue/white hue. It hurts one’s eyes to even look at them. The curtains are cheap and flimsy, in our room they were not even attached at the top, which allowed a lot of light to come in. Why didn’t the cleaning person ask to have them fixed? The drain in one of the sinks was so clogged water was standing in the sink. The toiletries were very low quality, the soap did not even want to lather up or the shampoo. Management should check this out. Those toilet tree items are unsuitable for $220 a night. The towels were thin and shabby, strings at the edges. The front desk person that checked us out “Shani”was extremely rude and obnoxious. She actually had the audacity to say to us that she did not care if we complained about her because it was a part-time job for her and that she could care less. We happen to own a 12 room boutique hotel, and we know what good hospitality is. We came down to grab a bite to eat in the on-site restaurant. The room was freezing, I asked the hostess if she could turn the heat on and she said that there was no heat! Really? It was 48° outside. The room had no atmosphere, the food was ridiculously priced as well as the draft beer. There was no music playing, you could only hear the din of a radio coming out of the kitchen along with the restaurant personnel, making a lot of noise. The breakfast in the morning was pretty much unedible and we paid for it.

Tourist trap!

Liked: I liked nothing. I know this is right by the airport on a holiday, but they gave me nothing. Ive gotten more from a 30 dollar room on skid row! Seriously! This was way overpriced and had noise all night every night. Do not stay here!
Disliked: Everything! Do not stay here!

I'd stay again!

Liked: Very convenient, right next to LAX with the hotel shuttle bus. The room has a modern look with a roomy bathroom that I liked.
Disliked: The restaurant in the lobby lacks a selection on the menu.
