Watch the birds and kangaroos...

Liked: The location was amazing for wildlife with kangaroos all around the property, lots of colorful birds and even a hit air balloon floated by so close you could see and hear the flames filling it to rise above the trees!
Disliked: Didn’t know or find the free internet!

Peaceful and quiet motel that...

Liked: Our Villa was an upgrade, and exceeded our expectations. Good view, good size, two rooms, spotlessly clean, and everything that we expected. Good proximity to many of Pokolbin's attractions. Parking was convenient to our unit. Staff was considerate and helpful.
Disliked: There was no wifi at all. The phone reception was moderate and we could check essentials

Liked: the beds where beautiful locations 10/10 the staff was so helpful and great to say if your there for a concert at Pokolbin
Disliked: nothing

Liked: Location super close to wineries, there's one even next door (cellar door here closes early- so be aware)Plenty of kangaroos to be seen at sunset on the open field between cabins and road, that was nice.Comfortable bed and nice large towels.Parking is done next to room-blocks so no long walks with suitcases.
Disliked: We booked 2 rooms in one booking and were unaware that the "blocks" are in 3 rooms, with 2 smaller rooms at the end of the blocks and a larger room in between - would've liked to know that when booking. There are only limited rooms with a nice view, the majority looks out on other rooms, so if you are a fan of a nice view from the room, you might need to request it.Outside lights were not working and we had to relocate a bedside lamp to be able to see eachother after sun went down. We had 1x large red wineglass and 1x small white wineglass in the room - having 2 of each would've been nice in one of Australia's best wineregions, for enjoying the wines we purchased at local wineries.We found hairs in the bathroom and sink that were not ours, and one of our plates had smudges on it - easy to clean ourselves, but it left us feeling a little iffy about the cleanliness.
