Stunning Stay on the promenade

Liked: Lovely stay , amazing sunset why would you not stay on the Promenade when you’re in Aberystwyth. Nice Bay window , nice deco in room and around the hotel . Great buffet carvery Breakfast . Busy hotel for this time of year

Liked: Breakfast was luke warm ,not enough food put out and had to ask for more, no one available as only one young girl serving everyone, tea cold ,overall not good .
Disliked: Hotterfood and more catering staff .curtains and blinds that were not broken

Underwhelming !

Liked: The property was in a good location not far from the town and a nice sea view and was clean
Disliked: I paid £475 for 3 nights in low season for a deluxe room I felt underwhelmed as it didn’t feel like a deluxe room , the bathroom was not spacious and the loo in a tight corner , the window got stuck and wouldn’t shut and maintenance had to sort it , the curtain had come of its eyelet and there was no where to hang your coats , we couldn’t fit the kettle under the tap to fill it had to use the glass to fill it , these are all things had I paid for a standard wouldn’t have bothered me as much but when you pay for a deluxe room you expect what you pay for and nothing really shouted deluxe

Liked: Nothing to like
Disliked: Room was cold and heating was never turned on, we had to plug in a radiator fan to warm up, paid for deluxe room with jacuzzi tub which didn't work at all, the tub didn't even hold water, the windows are very old and don't close properly so all the cold is coming in, parking was full and soon after check in i was blocked by another car, the restaurant is mediocre at best, food portions are very small for the prices asked. We didn't even finished the night, we checked out after a few hours and just drove home as it was too bad for the money we paid

Liked: Location, location, location
Disliked: The property is tired and needs decorating. The tv didn’t work (signal awful). Breakfast overpriced.

Passable

Liked: Very scenic location on the seafront.
Disliked: Lack of hot water for showers etc in the morning - could tell it was doing something as the cold tap etc was colder but it was barely warmer than the cold. Having driven 4 hours to get there quite late in the evening, having a hot shower to start the day was essential.
