Charming place for a relaxing...

Liked: We had a really delightful and memorable time at this almost a century old riverfront property, that felt like a hybrid between a hotel and someone's home. Along with expansive grounds (including several campsites!) and a personal river access, the place has a very distinctive charm. We especially loved the deck and relaxing hot tub under the stars, as well as the cozy living room with it's huge collection of books and a fireside piano. Special thanks to the owner Al for his warmth and hospitality: he gave us access to foodstuff in his pantry and also shared a warm home-cooked breakfast.
Disliked: It's an old property where somethings could benefit from better maintenance, but that didn't really hamper the quality of our stay.
