Good intentions, but somewhat lacking.

Liked: Very pretty exterior, quiet location
Disliked: Rather tired.

Lights did not work in...

Liked: Location and room size
Disliked: Bathroom light nor main light worked for duration of stay. Unacceptable.

Okay for the price.

Liked: Location was good, hotel was pleasant for the money paid. Nice size room.
Disliked: Shame it didn’t have a walk in shower. The room was really hot, had a fan in the room to help cool it down. The food wasn’t amazing. Not much choice on the menu and not great quality.

Highly recommend - even if...

Liked: The cleanness The bed was so comfortable , extra pillows in wardrobe if required Lovely shower jel The grounds well kept Staff welcoming , polite Breakfast-a lot of choice , waiter are polite and can’t do eough to support
Disliked: The shower can be a bit of pain with temperature - but a tad adjusting and it’s ok Nothing major this is my second vist in 4 weeks

Great room, don't book breakfast

Liked: Room was lovely and very clean
Disliked: We were told breakfast was until 10am on Saturday. We rolled up at 9:35 to be told breakfast had finished. So that was a waste of £30. I asked to cancel breakfast the following day, but of course heard nothing back and received not refund.

Disappointed

Liked: Location was nice.
Disliked: Restaurant was closed, was not told this before travelling so had to get a taxi and eat elsewhere. Power went out in the night so we had no lights. Spoke to reception who told us the fuse may have tripped as some of the outside lights were not working too, did nothing to fix it and had to use torches to go to the bathroom.

Much nicer than a faceless...

Liked: Cosy characterful hotel. Welcoming staff.

Great stay

Liked: The room was very spacious , the bed was very comfortable didn’t want to get up , , very clean and nice little garden area outside my back door
