Liked: Clean room, parking, simple but excellent food.It's a small hotel, there was only one guy working there who took excellent care of us. He even started his day earlier so we could have some breakfast before we left.
Disliked: There is no restaurant in the hotel, neither in a walking distance.There is some simple food in the bar in the hotel and it was more than enough for me. But if you want to have a dinner in a real restaurant, you have to go somewhere by car.

Disliked: Grumpy proprieter knocked on the door at 10.36 proclaiming that checkout was 10.30. I was in the process of showing intent and taking bags out when an altercation ensued. My partner was indeed still in the process of leaving which did take 1/2 hr ie 11 am i have to admit. (Sorry bout the lack of chivalry here :-(After some aggressive finger jabbing bordering upon assault in the corridor - the proprietor called out from the office that he was charging for a late checkout. The property is off a double laned highway - my fault for not looking properly i guess. The rooms themselves is what is says on the box - slightly pokey but clean - off a charmless corridor. The heating certainly wasnt on going to bed - bit chilly - but seemed on in the morning.When i rang at 9am enquiring of breakfast was told i shouldve booked - my fault again. But on snooping around earlier found the locked breakfast room and noone nowhere to be seen - i assume the owner lives off site out the back wither i saw him scarper- not good really for geneal liason and assistance . In any case "breakfast had finished." I would recommend neither the hotel nor its proprietor.It actually spolt my holiday a bit.In reply to reply ! :I in particular resent being called an odious little man-I am almost 6 foot tall
