Liked: Location and Food were excellent.
Disliked: The stay was ridiculously over priced for room size. Very small room that whilst done out very nice was just way too small for the price asked and to accommodate a couple comfortably.Far cheaper options in the local area with just as good a facilities and location. Please shop around more

Great Stay

Liked: Our room was excellent, our drinks in the bar were great, food at the Palm Court was very good too. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety and Reception staff were lovely.
Disliked: When having dinner in the Palm Court, the young waitress who served us was very pleasant but had no idea what a Cab Sav was and came back and told us they didn’t have this wine. It’s a very rare restaurant that doesn’t serve a Cabernet Sauvignon or understand that Cab Sav is an abbreviation of this.

Very friendly staff

Liked: We booked a standard room and were upgraded to a nicer room upon our arrival, it was a nice surprise.The bed was comfortable, we enjoyed the spa facilities (the temperature in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam was perfect). Food was very good. The staff was amazing and very friendly. We recognised a reception manager from our last visit and were happy to see her, she is always so thoughtful. Also the waitress at Nelson pub was superb. Everyone was very nice!It was our second visit and we will be definitely coming back again.
Disliked: The safe didn`t work, we couldn`t lock it. It would be great to have a warmer temperature in the room when we arrive, it was quite cold and it took time to heat it. But it`s not a big deal.
