Great rooms and value for...

Liked: Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant area is lovely especially the garden terrace and the rooms were clean, comfortable and secure.

Nice small hotel with friendly...

Liked: Nice small hotel, staff very friendly & helpful. The included breakfast was nice enough, cold meats, cheeses & breads plus hot scrambled eggs & streaky bacon.
Disliked: Room was very hot, even with the radiators off and the windows open all the time. Made for unsettled nights sleep on most nights. Also distance from the Centre of Bergisch Gladbach is a bit far. There is a bus stop across the road which takes you into town in about 15mins, but walking takes at least 30mins. Not so bad if you're younger, but if you're travelling with older people, you'd need the bus which is only €3 for a single journey or a taxi which is about €14 to the train station.
