Budget hotel room in noisy...

Liked: Staff was available late night when we checked in on a Saturday night. The room was clean with a spacious bathroom and shower. Easy 20 minute ride to Sydney Accor stadium for attending events. Special event public transport buses provide complimentary drop off nearby hotel after end of event. Coles supermarket found at walking distance.
Disliked: There is no lift available and no assistance is offered by the hotel to carry baggage to the room up the flight of stairs. The room had a chipped tv and no windows. It was extremely noisy on Saturday night with neighbours constantly opening and loudly slamming their doors late in the night disrupting sleep. Sunday evening was perhaps slightly better with lesser instances of noise from neighbouring rooms. Do not recommend this hotel if you want to get good sleep at nights especially during the weekend.

Liked: good value, friendly staff, good drink and food available
Disliked: Upon arrival finding an old sock and discarded waste from band-aid packaging neatly placed on top of the folded clean towels was unexpected.Location is far from train stops. Buses are great, but they stop running at 11pm, so if you're away in town past 11pm it needs a taxi to get from nearest train stop to the hotel.

Liked: The staff who assisted us was super helpful and the beds were soft and comfortable. The location was close to Accor Stadium which is why we booked it. There is a nearby public parking area.
Disliked: When we checked-in, the room smelled okay but when we came back late at night from a concert, the entire place from the stairway to our room reeked of cigarette smoke. We weren't able to open the windows to let the fresh air in. The carpet needs steam cleaning and the shower needs thorough cleaning, too.
