Superb

Liked: Clean, modern compact room. Extra touches like tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries. Had everything you need for an overnight stay.
Disliked: Lumpy pillows

Clean, modern and comfortable, Very...

Liked: The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great...a choice of hot & cold buffet, or the ability to order a la carte...all for the same fixed price...breakfast staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The bar is popular public bar and as such is very loud (music), busy and lively. It would therefore be nice to have a quieter area where guests could have a drink and bit more of a chill out experience.

Exceptional

A decent night's stay

Liked: Nice hotel attached to pub with lovely outdoor seating areas. Staff were great and breakfast good. Quiet room on 2nd floor with King size bed.No plug next to kettle so had to stretch cable across room, could be dangerous. Dust on some surfaces in room. Grout missing from part of bathroom floor. No Wiffi in room, only on wall of lift. Room was a bit warm and no instructions or remote for changing settings. Only one ceiling light above door which made room rather dark.

Liked: We have stayed before. Great location and parking. Bus stop outside the hotel. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Good bedsLighting in rooms is a little subdued. Next time we will get a superior room as standard only has 4ft 6in beds
