Great hotel with fab staff

Liked: Second excellent stay at Great North - the staff are second to none in terms of service and friendliness. Love staying here. Comfortable, clean, stylish rooms, great bathroom, pizza restaurant is really good, and breakfast was awesome.
Disliked: Last time I stayed, I had a room at the back of the hotel i.e. not fronting onto the Great North Road - this time I was at the front and it was - as you'd expect - quite noisy with traffic. Easily solved by requesting a room overlooking the carpark next time.

Liked: easy parking, friendly staff, well equipped rooms and lovely food
Disliked: It would be great to have the ability to link to TV display by HDMI or USB cable - remote connection didn't work as TV didn't have internet link

Great hotel close to city...

Liked: The location was good close to city centre, traffic is very busy though getting to and from the city. The hotel is lovely with friendly staff and a great pub attached to it

Liked: Everything,the staff absolutely make it the best place to stay
Disliked: Don’t like how dark the rooms are when you are getting ready to go out, that’s just a personal opinion though ,I like rooms to have an overhead bright light.
