The room was better than...

Liked: The room was really nice and in great condition. We loved the location as we could walk to the lake front, to the shops and to the cafes. There was parking right outside the room.
Disliked: Better soundproofing as we could hear the trunks through the night.

Liked: Location was within walking distance of restaurants and across the road from Lake Taupo.
Disliked: We could hear the water through the pipes when the room next door had showers.

Disliked: My experience was ruined by the noise from upstairs,the first day upstairs people slept late and next morning packed up their clothes suitcases in the early morning, so I just slept for few hours.the second day afternoon came back around 4pm we wanted to take a rest , the kid from upstairs kept running and jumping, i talked to the owner (i guess he is the owner)about this issue he said would talk to them but I didn’t think it work.I understand that it is really hard to stop the little kids running. But it really affected my stayed. It would be better arrange for a family with little kids stay on the ground floor.
