OK location and rooms can't...

Liked: The rooms are clean and nice. Staff were kind. Location is good.
Disliked: Single biggest complaint is the onsite breakfast area - service area is too small, and there's only one table where you can't see a big television screen, which makes it hard for kids who have a hard time focusing on their food. The buffet food service areas are very poorly designed. All the most popular items are laid out next to each other, so those serving areas are clogged with people moving too slowly through the stations, while there are whole counters with items that are less popular and easier to "grab and go" that people skip or move very quickly through. A cursory analysis of traffic patterns would make a massive difference in the breakfast experience, but evidently nobody has thought to do this. (The food itself was fine, pretty much what you'd expect for a hotel breakfast at this tier.)Noise carries easily; from our initial room placement we could hear both the hum of the elevator and a near-constant yapping dog, even though our doors were closed and we were not adjacent to either one. Road noise was substantial, especially in the morning when people are going up the mountain.

Very enjoyable weekend getaway.
