Pleasant

Liked: The host was very friendly and easy going. The bed was very comfortable, we slept really well. Fairly basic but had everything we needed.
Disliked: The room was not as clean as I would like - cobwebs and dust. It was basic and the decor a bit tired. The breakfast was fine - basic ( croissants, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, tea and coffee ). But we found mouldy jam and a gone-off apple so felt the host could be more aware as it wasnt busy.

Comfortable stay with a friendly...

Liked: Rick was very friendly, attentive and offering lots of advice re walks from the property etc. The continental breakfast was good and Risk replenished the table frequently.
Disliked: Once we'd sussed out the electric radiators the rooms were warm. Breakfast room was a little cool.

Very good

Liked: It was a lovely ensuite room with comfy bed and facilities for tea. There was also access to a guest lounge. Very friendly host who made sure we had what we needed to settle in. We needed to check in late due to our train time and the owners were obliging and readily agreed to meet us when we arrived. We had an enjoyable stay.
Disliked: The only thing I can think of to note was the continental breakfast was a bit basic, and used uht milk which my daughter didn't like.
