HUGE beautifully designed rooms right...

Liked: Our room was HUGE. The hotel is packed in next to other hotels right by the start of the ski lift, so I thought that our room would be small and cramped, but I was wrong. The shower was fantastic and the towels were quality-thick and soft. You are conveniently located right near the center of town so once you park your car you can walk to most places in town easily.
Disliked: Parking. They valet you car but it is expensive. I guess this is necessary due to the location right next to the ski lift, but I usually prefer to be able to easily access my car without going through a valet.

Disliked: Shortstaffed… The valet person couldn’t handle the job, especially by herself. Also, the hotel is seeing some wear and tear. The mattress was spongy, and the rug seemed very dirty and tired.

Amazing location, friendly staff.

Liked: The staff were amazing, and the dog friendliness cannot be overstated. It was so nice to have such a great location and comfortable stay.
Disliked: The amenities that we were so excited about were not all included or available. Much was due to repairs but the cold plunge and trampoline were broken, and we didn't have robes in our rooms for the onsen. Also the bathing towels were really small and rough. We paid a higher than normal amount for a basic room and later saw much nicer rooms open that night for a similar or lower price, but weren't offered an upgrade. They did treat us great, and the rooms were cozy and quiet.
