It was a good stay...

Liked: The food was beautiful in every meal we had and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere
Disliked: Our room was a bit on the small side and I wasn’t mad about the steps in our bedroom

As a buisness stay it...

Liked: Breakfast was fine, room was ok, had a slight used smell, liked the toiletries.
Disliked: slight but constant smell in the room, otherwise fine.

Disliked: Soap dispensers in bathrooms. When I stay at this hotel I bring a bar of soap with me.

Clean, friendly & warm

Liked: Location is great, all staff we dealt with were very pleasant. The young man that checked us in at reception was lovely, explained everything very well. Room had all necessary facilities.
Disliked: I wouldn’t say we necessarily didn’t ‘like’ anything, but if I wanted to nit pick the room did have a slight musky smell, as if the windows hadn’t been opened in a while, but it was only noticeable when you first entered, after being in the room for a while it goes. The toilet handle also took a good few pushes to actually flush the toilet. But again these are minor things and wouldn’t impact my decision to come back. I will say though if you are a light sleeper perhaps request a room at the back as the noise from the front of the hotel did wake us a few times during the night, this is obviously not the hotels fault however just something to note.
