We would stay again.

Liked: Location and elegant style. A great breakfast.
Disliked: There was a problem with the heating not working in our room but the receptionist resolved it to our satisfaction on checkout.

Lovely hotel made extra special...

Liked: The staff were superb.. very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax outside of bedroom. Large bar and dining room.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff,, good acconnodation and well furnished with comfortable bed etc - I would certainly stay again.
Disliked: The shower was small and difficult to use because there was no hand held sprey and one had to have the foor open to set the temperature, soaking the bathroom! Otherwise everything in the roon was excellent. The breakfast was good but the sceammbled egg was a bit dry and the sausage was not a butcher's one -nevertheless happy to try it again someime.

Very friendly and comfortable hotel.

Liked: Have stayed a number of times at this hotel and one of the stand-out things for me, beng coeliac, is the number of gluten free food options offered.This time the hotel was exceptionally quiet with few guests. We twice had dinner in the bar, with the main restaurant closed, and a restricted menu the first time, which wasn't so good.The staff are always very cheery and helpful.
Disliked: Having dinner in the bar with the restaurant closed on our first night, with a restricted menu, so not as many gluten free choices.

Liked: A good old-fashioned Scottish hotel, nothing impersonal or anonymous about it.
Disliked: more variety on the dinner menu and better value for money. Better control of the in-room temperature. More towel racks.
