Birthday weekend treat

Liked: Lovely surprise for my wifes birthday treat, Great location. Lovely food. Very friendly geese in the park
Disliked: Room 117. Shower head to close to the wall, couldn't get under shower fully and it couldn't be adjusted. Every thing else was perfect

Gorgeous hotel, perfect breaky, great...

Liked: Beautiful hotel! So much character. Breakfast was perfect. Room was spot on. Very well priced. They let me check in an hour early, which was amazing after a long morning of travel. Location was good - if you like walking, it's about 25 mins to the centre, which was fine for me. If not there's the tram close by. The breakfast staff were wonderful. Attentive and accommodating.
Disliked: It was a bit noisy at night, but I just popped my earplugs in, and I was fine. To be expected when staying in a city.

The hotel is a wee...

Liked: The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve slept in. The staff were really good and the breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: There were workmen in the hotel and they used the lift a lot and on a couple of occasions we had to wait a long time to get the lift and it was really dirty - it wasn’t cleaned at all in the time we were there.
