Liked: The breakfast was hot and tasty, the room was lovely and location was little out the way of the main town centre but once we found our way it was great.
Disliked: Nothing it was up to our expectations.

Liked: Beautiful house and gardens, great hosts, friendly and helpful, very accommodating. Dog appreciated the secluded garden, which had garden table and chairs that we used for evening dinner. Loved the bedroom with two windows and beautifully decorated.

A short and enjoyable stay

Liked: Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. I arrived in the morning by public transport and as I was carrying bags with me it had been agreed that these could be dropped off before my room was ready. However, on arrival I was met by Stephen who advised me that my room had already been cleaned and I was welcome to freshen up straight away and leave my heavy bag in my room which was really appreciated. The bus into the main town stops conveniently opposite the guest house or it's just a 30 minute walk into town. There were plenty of options for breakfast. I felt well set up for the day having had cereals and a cooked breakfast before setting out on a long walk. .

Liked: Welcoming and attentive hosts., awesome breakfast, large spacious room. Fridge with fresh milk in room. Room and bathroom clean, hot powerful shower.
Disliked: Bathroom decor a little dated - but that's just subjective. Shower height quite low - fine for us short people but if you're 5'11 or taller you'll be struggling.
