Ok, wouldn’t book here again
Liked: I liked the location, within walking distance to Covent Garden and tube stations.
Disliked: We had booked a room for 3 people, after staying in the sister hotel a few years ago we tried this one as the other was fully booked, the main bed was fine, not the best but fine. There were 3 of us in a room so I had the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not fit for anyone to sleep on, it was hard, it was extremely uncomfortable, dipped in the middle and had a bar going across so unfortunately I didn’t sleep much at all, I’m not fussy at all and have stayed in low star hotels before, in fact we stayed in hostels where the beds were more comfortable for a lot less money. I did contact the hotel after (but no reply) more so for them to sort it and so nobody else would have to sleep on it and did tell them on check out and the lady on reception who was nice but didn’t seem too interested. I don’t always expect a lot from hotels and even the rest of the things I can let go for a decent nice sleep. There was also no normal teabags in the room only earl grey, no sweetener/sugars. Was very run down.It was very noisy till late but that’s not too much of a problem, I’ve listed these smaller things which aren’t a huge deal for me but maybe helpful for other to know, but the bed situation just isn’t acceptable when you’re paying these prices.

Comfortable stay thanks - need...
Liked: Comfortable but not luxury. Clean - decent towels/linen Quite location - warm rooms, turned heating down but was still hot.Opened windows. Breakfast average - had continental only Hidden kitchenette- bonus
Disliked: Bath - need an hour to fill your bath (managed 1/3 in 30 mins and gave up - enough for my achy feet then hubby had cold shower. Pillows a bit hard for me and took long to settle

Superb
Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of London with areas like Camden and Covent Garden within easy walking distance. And value for money considering this location is outstanding. The staff are all friendly and approachable, and will help with anything they can. The room we had was amazing, much larger than we were expecting, it was also clean and comfortable. The hidden kitchen was a really nice touch, so much better than a kettle on the bedside table. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel & I'd definitely stay there again.
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the bed seemed so hard. However, it was comfortable enough for a night's sleep, so I guess that's more of a personal choice.

It’s a fabulous location, just...
Liked: Most everything.
Disliked: The toilet looks as if it needs a good bleaching, very tarnished.

Comfortable, good location, but you...
Liked: The staff were kind and welcoming, and held our luggage after check-out. The location in Bloomsbury was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The room was spacious.
Disliked: I only realized after sitting down in the upholstered fabric chair in the room that it was wet and soaked my clothes. Perhaps someone had spilled food on it and the cleaners washed it off. They should have replaced the chair – not left a wet chair in place. When we got to breakfast at 8:30 on Saturday morning the breakfast room was so packed with members of a big group (seemed to be people from one company) that they couldn't seat us. We were pressed for time to get to a conference – our trip was for work. Fortunately they directed us to another hotel owned by the same chain further down the street and we were able to get a nice continental breakfast there. Visitors should know that to get breakfast you need to exit the building and go to a "sister hotel" a couple of doors down the street.
