Liked: We came to town to visit the Rotary Christmas light display in the park. The location of the hotel was perfect as we were able to walk there in less than 5 minutes. Everything was wonderful. Keisha at the front desk was amazing and such a friendly face to greet people as they come in. Check in was very quick and easy. The hotel was decorated for Christmas, and it was so warm and inviting. The room was very clean. We had a suite with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa. We did not use the sofa bed as those tend to not be too comfortable, but we brought an inflatable queen size air mattress and that fit in the space just fine. The pool and hot tub were very small, but the area was very clean, and they served the purpose fine for one night. We brought some food and drinks and ordered in pizza. It was nice to have the kitchenette with dishes and a dishwasher. Free breakfast is always a nice perk. While it wasn't the most extravagant spread, there were plenty of options to eat. We will definitely come back in the summer months for a short stay and check out the other amenities and attractions in the area.

Liked: Check-in simple, room was spacious and clean. Hot breakfast, albeit it simple was appreciated. Location was perfect for us as attending holiday gathering at the Freight House.
Disliked: Bed seemed small for a Queen. Our shower did not have anywhere to put your shampoo or soap which was a little annoying. This appeared to be a handicap-accessible shower on the fourth floor which was surprising.Would have liked to have seen fresh fruit on breakfast bar.

Rooms overpriced and very disappointed...

Liked: The location, outside entrance and the lobby was nice!
Disliked: Checking in took forever because first there was no one at the desk and I had to call on the phone in the lobby a couple times. Then it took her 20 minutes to get the computer to work, and then she gave an incorrect receipt upfront even after telling her it was wrong she said the computer is right so not to worry what the paper had on it. The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website. There was a whole in the middle of the bathroom door that went through the whole door, one of the blind strips were busted on the door to one room, the carpet was not flat so tripping was an issue, and the mold on the floor by the bathroom shower was very bad. I took pictures of everything. The refridgerator was small, not the regular size it showed on the website. The room was not worth the price. I could have had better rooms cheaper at a couple other hotelsjust walking distance from this one. Also the pool was freezing. No heated pool!! It was supposed to be a special treat for my daughters 16th birthday and I was very disgusted and disappointed. When I told the front desk she knew as soon as I told her the room number that there was issues. So, evidently the owner does not care about fixing things. I would never recommend this hotel!
