Not what it was

Liked: The location is great, the design is good, it feels cool and well branded, the beds were comfortable, the curtains block light great, the room is large and spacious, good parking options, nice check-out, secure entry in elevator to floors.
Disliked: Probably the dirtiest hotel room I've been in for a long time, dust build up looked like the room hadn't been vacuumed in years, there were even still coins on the floor. An elevator was out of service so there were long waits. Indoor parking wasn't explained by staff. Check-in took a very long time. The shower was dirty and shower head was uncomfortable on every setting. There was a very large gap under the door letting in light and sound, and didn't feel super safe.

Disliked: Beds were not properly made. Sheets and covers were wrinkled upon arrival. Lack of housekeeping.

Liked: Location is nice with beautiful gardens and trails along the river
Disliked: The air conditioner is not in a good location - blows right down on the bed and continuous fan doesn’t work properly so that one still hears it kick in and out all night.

Wonderful stay and great location.

Liked: The location is great, so pretty in front of Lac des Nations and great walking path. The reception staff was very nice and check-in was fast. The room is spacious, we had a corner room so we had 2 big windows. Good lighting, comfy bed, i lounge chair and one built-in desk with office chair, a mini fridge and small armoire to hang clothes and ironing board and iron inside. The washroom was big with a nice bath/shower combo, make-up mirror, hair dryer and all soap is dispenser style. Corridors are bright and pretty and straight with rooms on both sides. Lobby is attractive and far wall is all glass to enable you to see the grounds and Lac des Nations. The self-serve breakfast area is very clean, but hot scrambled eggs and bacon or sausages would to an added plus. It is basically toast (many varieties), cereals, hard boiled eggs (cold) at least keep them warm, fruit, jam, juice and coffee. Could easily be improved.
