I had a pleasant stay...

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location — just a 2-minute walk to Hyde Park, an entrance that gives easy access to Kensington Gardens. It’s also conveniently situated between Queensway and Bayswater tube stations. The building is beautiful, with two modern lifts, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety offered at breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.
Disliked: The single room although very small, was modern, tidy, and perfectly adequate for my needs. There was a slight sewage smell noticeable when I entered seemingly coming from the bathroom, though it’s possible it was related to construction in the adjacent building next to the hotel, as my room was located on the corner. Fortunately the smell wasn’t strong and didn’t bother me once I was inside. On a positive note, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious for a single room.

Disliked: The room I was initially dwelled in had many deficiencies (noise from the street, cold, tiny shower cabin), but on my request I was immediately upgraded.

Liked: Superb location on a fairly quiet street. The common areas are spectacular. Fair price for this location.
Disliked: The toilet is super small. A regular sized man can barely fit into the shower. We asked for a clean roll of toilet paper (the one we had had questionable smudge on it) and they never brought it to the room. Overall the staff was really nice and helpful, though the person in the bar was probably a trainee or a beginner since even two bottles took really long to deliver.
