Disappointing considering what I paid...

Liked: Location, view and general aspects of the place. I have stayed in your hotel numerous times and every year pre-Covid and past Covid.
Disliked: I was put in a room (Room 53) which was a standard room and on the first night I heard some loud noises like a banging sound which I thought came from the rooms beside me. I called guest services to inform them of this. The noise was constant and came in regular intervals and didn't stop even after I informed guest services. I found out later that the banging sounds came from the inside of the walls - so it was either the water pipes or water system or the air conditioning system. The sound was loud enough to be disturbing and as I mentioned didn't stop the whole of my 6 days stay!

Liked: The views were great and the staff was excellent. The restaurant was excellent!
Disliked: The parking could be better, not everyone wants to valet or walk far. The elevators have a mind of their own and they need a separate elevator for freight.

Pleasant quiet stay with comfortable...

Liked: Good location, very scenic, on the water and very close to a lovely botanical garden, comfortable chairs in the bar and outside, valet parking,Staff were friendly and responsive. Hot cookies on arrival and departure, strong drinks at the bar, lovely floral arrangements. Live music in the bar and restaurant.
Disliked: The walls in the hallways and rooms were very beat up and in need of repair, external walls were dirty and grimy, food from the bar was expensive and mediocre at best and not from the hotel kitchen. Service in the restaurant was extremely slow with only 1 waiter and a couple of girls who could not take orders. Waited 45 minutes just to get our order taken. Food was ok.
