Beautiful estate, an old charming...
Liked: It’s a beautiful estate
Disliked: This time I selected an upgraded room but it was smaller than in my previous stay without an upgrade

A beautiful property, very poorly...
Liked: The hotel is a beautifully restored villa in a quiet area surrounded by a park but close enough to transportation to Milano and stores.
Disliked: What was supposed to be a luxurious treat at this “4 star” Hilton hotel, that was an abandoned villa across the street from where we grew up in Sesto, especially for my brother returning from Canada after 30 years, became a huge disappointment. The room we got, 312, had an inoperative thermostat, a poorly cleaned bathroom (orange and black mold around the tub) and toilet that reeked of urine upon our arrivalBoth my brother’s and our bathrooms had a slipshod shower system with poor water pressure, leaks and jiggly faucet. The heater and towel warmer were not working which left the bathroom cold and damp throughout the day.Additionally, only one out of two elevators was working for the entire length of our stay (four nights).Breakfast was not included and costed 18 Euro per person.Parking was not included and costed 18 Euro per nightThe worst was that, the staff, from the receptionists, to the dining area attendant, and maintenance (except one named Alessandro in the front desk) were unhelpful and indifferent. On our first night they sent their maintenance guy to “fix” the heater but nothing came of it. We asked again on our 2nd night after dealing with a constantly damp and cold bathroom, and the older male receptionist was snippy, unapologetic and reasoned that it was turned off by the manager for the entire hotel way before we even arrived, so what was the maintenance guy wiggling and waggling the controls for the other night, without so much as an explanation? It’s the middle of October and nights are cold. He dismissed the problem and hung up without offering a solution on how we could dry our towels and heat the bathroom. We ended up calling the front desk again and ask if we could at least get a portable heater. It is a true shame that such a spectacular property is so irreverently and carelessly managed.
