Liked: The property was exceptional. Located in the center of Stockholm, close to major attractions. Great facilities. Amazing service and polite and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was top quality and great variety. The Cadier bar is worth a visit !

Best first class hotel in...

Liked: Classic first class hotel with well dressed attentive and courteous staff that makes you feel like a VIP. Unmarked limousine taxi at the lobby, best reataurant “Verandan” for the best Swedish smörgåsbord experience. Comfortable bed, I’ve towels!

Liked: The room was nice, bath was brilliant and room service was very good, The concierge service was very helpful too.
Disliked: Check in was a pretty poor performance by the staff serving. Firstly 3 of the staff were having a chat with another apparently non-working member of staff/friend (they clearly weren't a customer) and we felt ignored whilst this happened; we'd had a long day and wanted to get to our room. We were then overcharged at reception. I later questioned this to find an additional allowance was included to cover additional potential incurred costs such as bar bills and breakfast etc, but this wasn't explained at check-in, was brushed off by the receptionist (she had a Manager badge) who appeared to not be interested in our comfort and concerns. This was our first impression of the hotel and to be honest it spoilt our experience, and made us feel quite uncomfortable; particularly as this trip was for a special occasion. The waiter who checked us in for breakfast the next morning also appeared quite arrogant and almost pompous in the same way in which we were treated at reception.The bath needed cleaning, I did not expect this in a hotel of this apparent standard.

Set back upon arrival, but...

Liked: Fantastic location, great facilities, extraordinary night shift housekeeping and the restaurant Veranda.
Disliked: Swimming pool is exclusive (or needs payment) to certain room types, a lot of events with cross flow with hotel guests. Communication pre, and upon arrival needs to be better coordinated, but was resolved, despite the delay, on an expected manner.
