A beautiful hotel in Pozzouli

Liked: The hotel is a wonderful place to stay! The staff, especially Sergio, are accommodating and friendly. Now, it is in Pozzouli, so take into account it is surrounded by volcanos. A sign at the door alerts you very cleverly, that you might smell odors ( Sulphur) and you might feel the ground move. The smell was there, but not bothersome. We did not feel the ground move during our stay! We had a sea view which I highly recommend! It is stunning. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds.

Liked: Nice hotel, great view on the water side.
Disliked: Booking made day of stay for one night. For filters used Naples airport and free airport shuttle. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast included were bonuses so made the booking. Began messaging the property through booking.com to arrange shuttle for pick up. They never responded. Finally called and they advised shuttle needed to be arranged the day prior. Haggled a 45 euro taxi ride to the property. At the hotel Rosella wanted to talk over me and not listen to my displeasure that nowhere on booking.com did it explain that the shuttle was limited. She showed me a photocopy of a sheet with highlights of information showing their policy and insisting this was on the booking.com website. I went back and looked at all of the information provided for a booking and it does not. The fact she had this sheet at the ready leads me to believe this has come up before. On the reception desk we saw a sign showing the shuttle is only available from 9-5 and even more limited from 9-noon on Sundays. It also says booking in advance is recommended. This information should be on the site and if it were, I would not have booked this property. Rosella was rude, insisted she was correct when she wasn’t, and has an inability to close her mouth and listen. An early morning flight was a 65 euro taxi back to the airport. Free shuttle cost me 110 euros. The free Wi-Fi is worthless from room 206. When I mentioned this on checkout all he had to say was he doesn’t use the Wi-Fi. The free breakfast wasn’t available since we had to leave at 7 am. If staff courtesy, a limited shuttle service, and ineffective Wi-Fi are of no concern, it’s a nice building. Oh, only pizza was available in the restaurant which opened at 7:30 pm.
