The luxurious Grand Hotel National is situated right on the shore of Lake Lucerne only a 5 minute walk from the train station and the historic quarter. Lucerne's legendary luxury hotel was built in the 1870s by César Ritz and Auguste Escoffier. Liked: Location,lake view comfortable rooms,breakfast,the bar,the restaurants,the hotel’s staff .The hotel staff was very kind and helpful, especially Ms. Merve Karaçomak took great care of us and helped us and made suggestions to make our trip a pleasant one.
