Excellent four day break at...

Liked: The view from our room was excellent overlooking the port. Staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble
Disliked: The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but we did not know this until we arrived. But on the whole did not affect our stay.

I loved it

Liked: Great hotel, perfect location

Liked: The staff were very friendly and we got a double upgrade and stayed in Chopin suit with a fantastic view.
Disliked: I could see that the hotel has seen better days, for example the carpet could be changed along with the curtains, but we loved the character of the place all the same. After all this is not a chain hotel which are the same independent of where they are.

Exceptional

The best view in Marseille

Liked: The perfect location by the harbour. The 7th floor suite had an amazing terrace with a stunning view. Even the view from the bed was incredible. It was very spacious and well equipped. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Disliked: It was being renovated and one of the lifts was usually out of order, and the stairs were also out of bounds due to the renovations.

They should have refunded us

Liked: All facilities were closed , we were advised too late to book elsewhere.
Disliked: It should have been accepting bookings
