You can do better

Liked: The location, with a view over the vieux port of Marseilles is marvelous. The breakfasts are plentiful but much too expensive, 28 Euros a person! And they give you no choice to have something small.
Disliked: The staff operates like amateurs. We planned on driving to the hotel, and they could not explain the traffic situation, promised to send me a map via email, which never arrived. We asked for a restaurant recommendation for the neighborhood, which, being a tourist attraction, is a difficult place to find a good place to eat, and their recommendation was a dismal resto with mediocre food. On the day of checkout, the front desk said they called a taxi, but when it didn't come and they called the taxi company, it turns out never to have been ordered. Luckily, We were able to find one and make the train to Paris. In our room, the toilet paper was like sandpaper and the tissues are no better quality. There is no bar of soap! Yet Marseille is the world's capital for wonderful soap!. Our room was so small that we could never have sat together even for a tiny snack.

Liked: Very helpful staff and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Wonderful views of the harbour from our suite which was extremely comfortable with good facilities.
Disliked: It was all very good.

Fantastic experience, this hotel is...

Liked: I chose the hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday, and what an experience that was! The best choice I could have made. The staff was incredibly responsive and supportive with my questions even before we arrived. I asked if it would be possible to order a cake to celebrate his day and they not only helped me to find the best option for his taste but also a great value one, from one of the nicest patisseries in the city, which he loved. We were upgraded to a very nice room and the view to the Vieux Port was fantastic, and the team was so very kind to get our room ready before the usual check-in time as my husband wasn't feeling well when we got there and needed to rest. The staff is so fantastic that knowing we would celebrate his birthday in the morning, they helped us find a table with a nice view from the port to enjoy breakfast the best way possible. That, by the way, is also incredibly good, delicious options for every taste. This was by far one if the not the best hotel we ever stayed on. Totally worth it!
Disliked: There's literally nothing I could complain about here, the hotel is fantastic!
