It's ok... great location for...

Liked: Location and comfy beds.
Disliked: The lifts are very slow.. outdated really. Room had a draught coming from the window.

No Fivestars fecilities.

Liked: Bad Spa, no system. Lift was not working. Only one lift for all Peoples . One has to wait long time to use it.
Disliked: Nothing

Would have been another wonderful...

Liked: We like the facilities, the view etc. We told the spa staff that they should leave the towels on the counter if they were not there, so that we didn't have to wait or try to retrieve the towels on your own. The next day, they did that, which was good. Shows that they listened to feedback.
Disliked: We found that your staff were not as friendly as before. We had an unpleasant experience at the lounge but it was addressed. Also, we lost several items of clothing there. We came to know about it only after we left. Quite regrettable as it has not happened before in the last two times we stayed at your hotel.

Disappointing

Liked: this hotel is very well located but otherwise it is an expensive and unkempt hotel, small rooms, not very clean hallways, average breakfast.

THE place to stay in...

Liked: A grand old hotel, once a Palace, in a perfect beachfront location. Add in friendly and efficient service and it is THE place to stay in Scheveningen!
Disliked: The only negative was a shower over the bath, rather than a walk-in shower.
