Ideal accomodation for our short...

Liked: Hotel was well located in the canal district, clean comfortable room. Friendly staff. Free snacks
Disliked: Parking outside was very expensive and public car park was 10 minute walk which may be a consideration for less able visitors

Good, but needs improvements

Liked: Personnel was very polite, comfortable beds, top location.
Disliked: At first we were given room number 3, which is right between the 1st and the 2nd floor on the stairs - terribly noisy. We asked to be moved somewhere else and the ladies were very kind and give us another room at the top floor which was very nice and quiet, so thank you for that. Note for everyone - room 3 and 8 are very, very noisy. Keep that in mind when booking there. The hotel needs refurbishment and the quality of the rooms does not correspond to the prices.

We had an excellent time.

Liked: Overall we loved the hotel and will recommend to our friends. Our room has an excellent view of the canal. We could just sit in the room and watch the boats go by. Huge windows and it felt like we were sitting outside. Free snacks and coffee all day. We even had free drinks left in the fridge for us.
Disliked: I wish there were mirrors in the room, it only had in the bathroom. And another armchair. Only one of us can sit near the window at a time.

despite the 1 issue it...

Liked: We had a really good experience in terms of staff cleanliness location was great perfect distance from the centre and had access to a coffee machine free of charge that made the best coffee. The staff were a standout friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming vibe. Cleanliness was top notch, which added to the comfort. The location hit the sweet spot for accessibility and calm, and that coffee machine was a game changer, offering a free, high quality perk that elevated their stay. There is a supermarket on the other side of the canal with the best freshly pressed orange juice ever.
Disliked: The only issue was we booked a deluxe double room but we had been given a Comfort double Room which had although had draw backs i.e when people was entering or leaving the hotel was really loud and when people are talking in reception you can hear everything and the t.v was really hard to get a signal but there was plus sides to this in terms of being closer to the coffee machine in the reception and the door to go outside and smoke.
