Once past the problem of...

Liked: The second room we were given was very good and comfortable.
Disliked: When we arrived in late evening we were put in a room which was obviously not ready for guests. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel, and the shampoo and conditioner, had obviously been used previously; the toilet roll was a used one and also there were none of the items, other than the used shampoo, that were supposed to be in the bathroom.On top of that, our door to the terrace did not close properly. On going out onto the terrace we found that there was another door leading to the corridor, which meant that, although the door was locked, anyone from the hotel could open it and walk into our room.On the plus side, when we informed reception of this, they straight away put us into a much better room, with all the advertised amenities. Our question is, since the hotel was obviously not fully occupied, why weren't we given the better room in the first place, instead of a room which was so obviously not ready to welcome guests?

Terrible staff. Rude towards guests

Liked: Good location in the city center
Disliked: The rude recepsionist that almost throw my dinner guest out from the hotel because my friend visited my room for some minutes. The receptionist even called to the room when we went up with my bag, and told that my friend had to leave. Even that my friend had recommended this hotel and the restsurant. We ended up eating somewhere else and not in this shithole.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The huge terrace was a nice surprise and the staff were very friendly.

Liked: room was very nice but tv had not got any english channels
Disliked: the price of parking and the extremely small entrance to the car park especially for a large vehicle. Also the gym equipment was extremely limited, the saunas and swimming pool were closed. i realize the latter was due to the summer season had ended although it had been extended to include october in many areas of Spain, hence the closure of these facilities should be mentioned when booking.
