Wonderful location

Liked: I arrived in Pamplona and was very ill with bronchitis and needed to stay somewhere where I could recuperate so I could continue walking the camino and found the only 5 star hotel in the city. The location was fantastic as my balcony looked over the square and there was non stop activity entertaining me as I wasn’t able to go whilst I was so ill. The room was luxurious and the bath was sensational!!! Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Liked: Everything! So beautiful, clean and quiet. The service was fabulous. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Daily room service plus nightly turndown service. Bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms we've stayed in. We had a junior suite overlooking the square-perfect!
Disliked: Nothing. It was a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Liked: Location was so convenient to the Camino route and to restaurants/shops. The staff was friendly and helpful with questions.
Disliked: Everything was great, no issues with the hotel at all.

Grand stay at Gran Hotel...

Liked: La Perla deserves its 5 star rating. Everything about it was outstanding, from the warm reception to the incredibly spacious room (you could fit a football team in the shower). Although it was Hemingway’ s favorite in Pamplona a hundred years ago, it hasn’t been stuck in a time warp. It’s been stylishly updated and seems very modern. Luxury hotels can sometimes be hit or miss. This was a definite hit.
