Exceptional

Perfect stay in Madrid.

Liked: We loved absolutely everything. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. The staff gets an 11 on 10 for making you feel welcomed and many little special touches that remind you that you are not in an average luxury hotel. The hotel is also wonderfully located within walking distance to so many things. We absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommend it.

Truly one of the leading...

Liked: Immaculate throughout very clean great location superb attention to detail by the staff and facilities also walking distance to most central Madrid attractions including the Prado and the palace
Disliked: The room looked at the courtyard so very full view from my window . The street it’s in can be a bit rough looking with youth hostel opposite

A very nice hotel experience...

Liked: All staff was great, friendly, very helpful - 10 Ground floor facilities, reception, lounge, breakfast, bar, smoking area all very nice - 10Location is central
Disliked: Room (standard room) itself was poor for a 5-star hotel (compared to other 4 or 5-star hotels). Small bathroom with only few basic amenities. There was a flower stand that empty the two days. Toilet room is very narrow so that you zig-zag to get in and close door (strange). Decoration in room is cold/neutral and does not match the nice (warm, colourful) decoration on the ground floor. Nothing on the walls. The carpet on the 4th floor is horrible, again nothing on the walls to decorate the hallway and make it warm. Walking from the elevator to the room felt like walking in an office building, not a 5-star (Grand) hotel. We totally didn’t understand the concept why there is such a discrepancy between the ground flor and the 4th floor (don’t know the other floors/rooms).
