Liked: Good hotel, friendly staff, excellent location.

Overall a good place to...

Liked: Great location, easy to reach and to more around Barcelona. Room was nice as well. Good variety at breakfast.
Disliked: Small things. Considering the price you don't expect filtered water for breakfast. I couldn't drink it.I wasn't informed that a marathon was scheduled on a day of our departure, we were locked within the city until 3.30 pm, we couldn't go out with a car.

perfect location

Liked: location was perfect for going to the center, beach, restaurants, bar. even a supermarket was just at the otherside of the street. the day before the marathon of BCN we needed an early breakfast (05:30), the staff managed to ask what we need for eating before a competition and they made a homemade GRANOLA just for us with yogurt. BIG thanks from us because is was just perfect. also the breakfast staff was just great guys :-) THANKS AGAIN. S & P

Disliked: If I had to change anything I think your pillows are a little too hard my own personal opinion, beautiful hotel VERY helpful friendly staff.

Best location possible

Liked: During our first night, we had a little situation with the acoustics (they put us right next to the pool motor house), and there was this incredibly loud noise that kept us from sleeping. But, as soon as I spoke with the receptionist, they were very happy to solve the issue. We ended up having an upgrade to a better room and our stay was perfect after that. The hotel is in the best location possible, and we truly loved the new room. Would definitely recommend!

Liked: Location is really convenient, you can both walk or take a bus ride to major spots. They bumped us to terrace room, which was great.
Disliked: Bathroom cleaning is mediocre at best and almost no ventilation in. We had a cockroach problem. And also no soap holder on bath. Walls are thin as paper.

Great stay in Barcelona

Liked: Breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend option to include. Service from everyone was friendly and helpful. Location really good, walkable to many attractions, attractive neighborhood felt very safe.
Disliked: A night light in the bathroom would have been great, avoid turning on all lights.

Average stay

Liked: The location of the hotel was very good. Taxis available outside all the time, buses and metro around 1-2 minute walk from hotel. Small supermarket opposite the hotel which has the essentials, loads of food places scattered around the hotel. The room itself was clean and the bed was massive
Disliked: No sockets near the bed - I had to charge my phone on the other side of the room and my partner had to charge his phone in the bathroom. The tv internet wasn’t working - has channels in Spanish with is no use for people who can’t under Spanish so we used YouTube but stops working after 20 minutes. We told hotel staff on the first night and they said they would send someone in “a couple of minutes”. We waited 45 minutes, got bored and cancelled as we wanted to go to bed. Happened again on second night, told staff, they said they will send someone in a “couple of minutes”, told them we had dinner reservations in 45 mins, they didn’t come in that time. Asked reception once we came back, they stated someone came once we left but they knocked and left despite us telling them we were leaving for dinner and that they had permission to go into the room if we wasn’t there. They said they’d fix it the next day but we were leaving so no point. Air conditioning not working - fan turned on and off but couldn’t adjust the temperature so room was constantly at 25 degrees. No toilet brush to clean the toilet and for some reason, hotel slippers ad robes were hidden under the sink. The pool is smaller than the pictures and no towels available. Kept searching for the sauna - the sign weren’t helpful as the sauna is hidden away within the toilets so had to ask other people staying at the hotel. The sauna wasn’t hot, kept adding water to see if it would warm up. Gave it 15 minutes and it was like sitting in a medium warm room as opposed to a sauna so we just left. One lift just never worked
