Lovely, clean hotel, spacious for...

Liked: Exceptionally clean, beautiful location. Lovely view. Wonderful hotel restaurant, and the rooftop bar is extraordinary. Staff is kind and efficient. I really enjoy this hotel and stay here each time I visit NYC.
Disliked: The only (small) downside to this hotel is a cab or Uber from Manhattan is expensive and takes time, as the vehicle has to go through Queens. Best to take a Manhattan cab to the F or tram and public transit onto the island,
