Charming hotel in perfect Yale/downtown...

Liked: The room was adorable and very clean; nice bathroom; decent closet space with functioning safe. The location is unbeatable for Yale alums/parents.
Disliked: The price was high, but consistent with similar quality hotels in this location, especially during large Yale events like reunions.

Liked: The room was spacious and very comfortably decorated the bed while a bit soft was very comfortable. The staff was especially attentive and helpful
Disliked: for some reason, the room lacked any of the guide documents. one usually finds in a hotel room. no channel guide. no guide to the city. no information about using the facilities of the hotel. outside, the hotel as a prominent sign giving its previous name, not its current one, which makes it a little hard to identify.

Liked: Great location and a lovely setting. The coffee shop and bar were welcome additions.

Liked: Everything I expected from this stay came true and even more. It really has the old charms that you'd expect from a hotel next to the old and honorable Yale Campus. I'd love to go back to new haven just to stay at this hotel again.
