We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Liked: I loved our room with the king bed. All the decorations and layout of the room and hotel was great!

Hubby and I went to see Chris Young perform at Thompson-Boling Arena which was easy to get to from this location. You could walk there in better weather. Just outside the university and many fast food places were there and nicer dining, as well.

Liked: The valet service was great; the room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast was exceptional. The entire staff from front desk, valet and wait staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The shower door only opened on one side - that didn't allow for me to test the water before getting in. Getting in and out of the hotel was tricky due to construction and the hotel front was in an alley.

Liked: Great service; clean rooms.
Disliked: Our room was right next to the elevator so we could hear it all day/night.

Close to the campus -...

Not great

Liked: The decor is cute, fun designs in a local theme. Location is nice, right by the university campus. Waitress at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: The room I booked through Booking.com was overpriced ($400/night for a Fri-Sun stay). We checked in around 9:30pm and the front desk staff wasn't very welcoming, only providing the minimum amount of information. The decor was nice, but the room was relatively small and a little outdated, with a view on the parking lot. I reported an issue in the bathroom but never received any feedback. When I asked if we could check out at 12:30pm instead of the usual 11am, the front desk said that that would be an extra $50. They only offer valet parking through an external company and it's overpriced for the location ($40/night). The food at the restaurant is very mediocre, so wouldn't recommend eating there, although the staff at the restaurant was very helpful and friendly.

Liked: Close to the concert venue. Adorable room decor. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Per usual, hotel pillows are awful. But my main complaint is the instant coffee in the rooms, and no complimentary coffee in the lobby. With all the extra touches in decor, valets, etc, complimentary coffee should be available if all the room has is instant.
