Liked: Great location. Poindexter’s was terrific to have on site. Front desk staff super friendly.
Disliked: Our room was just strange. We needed two beds and the only option was an accessible room. The room proportions were off and it wasn’t warm and inviting - lots of kitsch but no authenticity.

Liked: The location is excellent to IU and the B-line trail.
Disliked: I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival which was a nice surprise. Not that I needed the extra room since it was just me. I don’t know if it was because it was a suite or if all the rooms are like this, but room was handicap accessible, which is fine. But the shower curtain was filthy. Yellow at the bottom and a strong mildew smell. It actually ruined the hotel for me. The beds were low platform beds which were comfy, but I don’t know if all the rooms are like this. But since they were low, every time I got out of the bed, the sheets touched the floor. That’s gross too. I have never had that experience anywhere. I don’t move much when I sleep, so it was just the fact of getting out of the bed that caused the sheets to touch the floor. That means when housekeeping makes the bed, the sheets are touching all the way around.

Liked: Clean, good bed, good location near restaurants and shops.
Disliked: No grab bar in tub/shower. Would choose another hotel for that reason.
