Ok, but quite expensive for...

Liked: The hotel lies convenient for traveling LA or to the Malibu coast. It’s a closed in structure when you choose poolview. Our beds were good. Nearby are various supermarkets and little restaurants.
Disliked: It is quite thin ceilinged so you hear all steps from above. The room service is poor, they only put new towels on the bed, don’t make the bed, sometimes they leave the old towels damp on the floor. Most service personnel is friendly. Smoking restrictions are not enforced, e.g. on the pool.
