Great Value Room ... Parking...

Liked: Great room with fantastic view...great value for new year ...
Disliked: No mention...prior to Arrival that parking is first come first served and cost £27 a night ( which in proportion to room cost is extortionate) . If we had know prior to arrival would have parked elsewhere...

Liked: The hot chocolate available at the front desk was very tasty. The exterior of the hotel also looks very pretty at night

Liked: The reception staff had a lovely welcoming manner. The food was really nice. The room service was excellent.
Disliked: The décor in the the room we occupied needed a paint refresh. Water stains on the ceiling and walls.. The room was cold with the heating on.

Good in parts

Liked: The staff were very professional . A good location for exploring the town
Disliked: The restaurant charge silly prices and should be avoided. The £28 a day parking is excessive. The wardrobe in the room was not big enough to store clothes from a small suitcase. Often no milk left in the room by housekeeper

Luxurious, special and welcoming stay....

Liked: Cheerful, helpful and courteous reception staff. Excellent food in the bar, restaurant and breakfast room (we experienced all three). Spotlessly clean room. Manager, Neil Duffey, very much in evidence and very helpful with queries about the hotel.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.
