Disliked: This is my 7th time staying in this hotel. It had been always good expierence. But this time it was on the bad side. We got a old room that was dirty and to old iam not used to of this

A great place to spend...

Liked: The staff were wonderful yet very professional & helpful. The fantastic garden & bar area. The nearby bus to the centre & railway station. The very comfortable bed & the closeness to the oldest bar in Bruges.
Disliked: While the bar area was delightful, the rooms were in need of a 'pick me up'. Everything one would need was in the large bed room but it was tired looking. Likewise the hall carpet was passed its best & should be replaced. None of that really mattered but the food in the bar was disgusting. I would think that one home cooked dish would be preferable than the long mass produced menu which presently exists.

Overall it was Ok, but...

Liked: Location, comfort of the rooms, and the good aura of common spaces
Disliked: Careless in cleaning, effortlessly behaviour and lack of attention of some of the staff

Clean & very comfortable hotel...

Liked: Close to canal and bus transport to train station was very handy. Hotel was old and charming but rooms very comfortable with big bathrooms. Plenty of space Inner courtyard garden was pretty and breakfast included was good
Disliked: We went downstairs to eat at restaurant one night and no one there. Then told when asked reception , that the chef didn’t turn up that day !!!

Pleasant

Liked: Good location, close to bus stop witch takes you to the station.
Disliked: Hotel is a bit outdated. Some of the staff are really rude / unprofessional (but some of them are nice and helpful).I had some issues with the bedding (see the pics) and if I would have to rate how the situation / I was treated, it would be a 1 out 10. I have to mention that no one apologized - not when I called about the dirty bedding nor when I mentioned it at the check out.

Fine hotel to visit Brugge

Liked: An excellent location, the room was very quiet, overlooking the garden. All was there. Good breakfast and large breakfast room. Very professional and friendly receptionist.
Disliked: Nothing really. Breakfast room with no view. Hotel a bit used and dated.
