Liked: Classic American motel, friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable room, not fancy, not modern, but perfect for what i was looking for

We enjoyed our time here....

Liked: It was clean. Good location. Super convenient with a restaurant just steps away from our room
Disliked: The restaurant closed at 9. And when another table was seated with about 10 mins to go before 9, we thought we had plenty of time to slowly finish our beer. That’s when employees started coming through the restaurant saying “we’re closed”. And they shut off the tv so we couldn’t watch anymore of the game (10 mins before they closed). We kinda laughed it off, but was fairly annoying. The TV in our room didn’t work. We called the front desk and they gave us new batteries for the remote. That wasn’t the problem.

Horrible

Disliked: Well I rented the room for my artistic son for his birthday he finds comfort with hot tubs they never once said it was broke not on the site not when I checked in so I got my son all ready to go down to the hot tub just to take him and Find out it was broke so then my son had a complete melt down on his birthday not only that the room wasn't very clean and the people upstairs from the room we was in stomped on the floor/our ceiling all night long just all in all it was a bad birthday experience for my artistic sons birthday and was definitely not worth the price I look forward to someone making this right

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and everything looked clean. Front desk was friendly and the restaurant had very good food.
Disliked: The overwhelming smell of mold and mildew when you walk in the door. The carpets are so saturated with it the it actually shows on your socks if you walk without shoes on. If it hadn’t been a last minute, no refund booking we wouldn’t have stayed. We turned the air conditioning down to 65 for a while and that helped reduce the mustiness while we went to eat. I would suggest replacing the carpets and putting fans in the bathroom instead of the old timer heat lamp dials.

Liked: front lobby was very clean, overall noise was very quiet in facility
Disliked: Room was old - which is fine - but the care of their facilities gave me worry to how clean things were. For example, the patchy work of drywall around the ceiling, the a/c unit, and the cracks in the walls of the bathroom were all troubling. the only winow faces the parking lot and the hallway so unless you want people looking in constantly you have to keep the shades drawn. No coupon or deal for the on-site restaurant - it's 2024, the lobby could at least have a Keurig for guests, especially in a kind of remote location where it takes a car or you have to order in, but there is nothing available unless you go to have a meal at the restaurant.

Will be back next year!
