Highly recommended spooky stay in...

Liked: Beautiful gothic style room, helpful and friendly staff. Great food! In a perfect location, right opposite the shambles. Loved the spooky paintings adorning the staircase walls. The pub has live music most nights and is generally quite busy but we were pleasantly surprised that we could barely hear it due to the heavy fire door into our room.
Disliked: Not a complaint, just a heads up for people with a disabilities. Would not recommend this accommodation for people with mobility problems. Due to its age and general crookedness, the stairs are hard to navigate and the floor is very uneven. Not a problem for me but my mum struggled within the property.

Liked: It was full of character and old worldly charm. Great location just opposite the Shambles. Sarah did a great job cleaning the room and Rachel behind the bar went above and beyond for us when I asked for extra tea bags and milk for the room.
Disliked: Nothing

Unique and memorable stay

Liked: Very beautiful and spacious room (minstril) in an excellent central location. The beauty and quality of the room, furnishings, and shower made staying in a haunted pub as comfortable as could be.
Disliked: I was terrified to be staying in a haunted pub, but my kids who stayed in Lady Peckett's room absolutely loved it. Was a highlight of our holiday for them.
